Well, guys, it was only a matter of time. I’m surprised I haven’t seen more out there.

Just to make it clear, I have no issue with porn. I just guess that when it comes to steampunk, porn cheapens it somehow to me.

Thoughts?

**Update- It’s been brought to my attention that the lady portrayed here is Lady Clankington, a very active member of the steampunk community and, I’m sure, a very nice person. Again, I take no issue with her and what she chooses to show or not show photographically-speaking, etc. I just don’t personally like the idea of steampunk porn. I’d much rather prefer a nice steampunk, Harlequin romance novel.

My favorite response to this post so far, from Zemmer:

“I think that context and world-building are extremely important to the steampunk genre. Any porn that lacks those elements is going to feel cheap: because of that rather than the overt sexuality. I think a pornographic scene in a wider storyline would be completely fine.

And I think there are a lot of interesting possibilities for porn in a steampunk setting! What kind of sex toys might become popular? How would people deal with cybernetic parts? Sexuality is a common part of humanity, after all: there’s no reason to omit it from the steampunk multiverse.”
